Job Description

The Behavioral Health Representative (BHR) will work in collaboration with the Behavioral Health Providers to ensure continuity of care. The BHR is responsible for filtering all BH phone calls, scheduling of the BH appointments, taking non-emergent phone messages in a clear concise and complete manner and transferring emergency calls when appropriate to the Behavioral Health Provider. The BHR will maintain schedules for School-Based Counselors and their locations. The BHR will collaborate with the Call Center Coordinator regarding schedules for time off and vacation with the BH Counselors.

Education and Experience

•  High school diploma or GED equivalent required, associate’s degree in Mental Health/Human Services strongly preferred.   Mental health experience strongly preferred.
•  Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in the field or related field.

Hours

Monday – Friday; 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
