Multimedia Specialist

Job Description

The Multimedia Specialist will work closely with the Marketing Department to lead the organization’s overall visual and multimedia needs including, but not limited to:

  • Technical innovation, implementation and upkeep of photography and video projects for the organization.
  • Provide video production services for internal and external needs.
  • Includes enterprising, researching, scheduling, interviewing, and supporting video materials that would be re-tooled for various mediums.
  • This position is both a technical multimedia expert and a creative animator and storyteller. They are well-versed in multiple aspects of production, including videography (camera, lighting, and audio operation), video editing and animation—all while adhering to brand standards to ensure a consistent image
  • Manage, develop, and market media content


Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Film, Video, or Photography strongly preferred
  • A minimum of two years of experience strongly preferred
  • Strong HD video/audio production/editing and photography skills
  • Understanding of marketing principles supporting the ability to craft images and stories that engage audiences and accomplish brand goals
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with software packages including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with content management systems, social media knowledge and experience with Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Analytics, etc. 
  • Must be organized
  • Ability to multi-task, juggling multiple projects while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work independently  
  • Extremely detail oriented with a passion for design, accuracy, and quality

Hours 

Full time, 40 hours per week
