CareSouth Carolina welcomes Courtney Price, FNP-BC, as the newest Dillon provider

DILLON, S.C. — CareSouth Carolina is pleased to announce the newest addition to its healthcare team, Courtney Price, FNP-BC. Courtney will be joining the Dillon office, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to serving her hometown community.

Courtney Price's journey to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner was driven by a desire to make a difference in the lives of underserved individuals in the Dillon area. Having completed her clinical rotations at two CareSouth Carolina sites - Lake View and Latta, Courtney gained valuable insights into the healthcare needs of the community. 

"I'm from Dillon, and I know the need. Just being able to give back to my hometown community gives access to care,” Price said.

One of Courtney's core values as a healthcare provider is her dedication to preventative care. She firmly believes in the power of early intervention and proactive health management. 

"I'm more preventative-focused. I'm pro-screening. If you can prevent something and be proactive," she said.

Outside of work, she enjoys fishing, spending quality time with her children, exploring the beautiful mountains, and attending church.

CareSouth Carolina is excited to have Courtney Price as part of its team and looks forward to her contributions in enhancing the healthcare services available to the Dillon community.

In 2022, CareSouth Carolina and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) opened the new 18,640-square-foot Dillon facility, located at 1016 Old Latta Highway, as part of a partnership. 

The facility allows CareSouth Carolina to continue to provide preventive health services in Dillon, including family planning, Sexually Transmitted Diseases/Infections, HIV, immunizations, family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, women's services, substance abuse prevention program, dental, pharmacy, geriatrics, social services, behavioral health counseling, laboratory, ultrasound, x-ray, migrant services, and veteran’s choice provider.

CareSouth Carolina is a private, non-profit community health center delivering patient-centered health and life services in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. CareSouth Carolina operates centers in Bennettsville, Bishopville, Cheraw, Chesterfield, Dillon, Hartsville, Lake View, Latta, McColl and Society Hill.
