CareSouth Carolina welcomes Dr. Benjamin Craig Jordan, DMD, to the team, where he will serve as the newest provider for the Miles of Smiles Dental Program. With roots in Cheraw, SC, and a commitment to giving back to the community, Dr. Jordan brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of the needs of Chesterfield County.
As part of the Miles of Smiles initiative, Dr. Jordan will work on CareSouth Carolina’s Mobile Dental Unit (DMU), providing crucial dental services to children across Chesterfield County schools.
This innovative program delivers comprehensive oral health care to children up to 18 years of age throughout the Pee Dee Region.
“Growing up in Chesterfield County, I feel grateful to work closer to home and to be part of something that helps children in my own community,” Dr. Jordan said. “I’m seeing many familiar faces, and it’s been rewarding to give back by helping kids understand the importance of their dental health.”
Dr. Jordan emphasized the importance of building relationships with young patients, saying, “It’s been a privilege to make connections with these kids and guide them toward better oral health, especially when I know some of them personally or through family. This role lets me help right where I’m needed most.”
Outside of his work, Dr. Jordan is a dedicated father of three, sharing his passion for the outdoors and family. He enjoys traveling, and his two daughters are active in horseback riding and barrel racing, while his son is an avid golfer.
