CareSouth Carolina welcomes Zita Andreksi, APRN, FNP-C, to Hartsville Pediatrics Office

HARTSVILLE, S.C. — CareSouth Carolina welcomes Zita Andreksi, FNP-C, as the newest pediatric provider at its CSC Hartsville Medical office.

Andreksi, a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who practices at CareSouth Carolina’s Hartsville Pediatric location, comes to CareSouth Carolina with more than 30 years of experience and started working in Hartsville in 2002, working with babies and in the nursery.

“CareSouth Carolina was really a place that was always on my mind because I have a passion to serve the underserved population,” Andreksi said. “This is a place where there’s always something you can do, regardless of a patient or family’s ability to pay. Their ability to pay doesn’t prevent you from doing all the services and making things possible. I think that’s especially important working with pediatrics.”

She attended Purdue University Global, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner). She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from San Pedro College (Philippines).

Andreksi said she can’t imagine doing anything other than working in pediatrics.

“This is my life,” she said. “I don’t know anything else other than working with children. This is my passion. I’ve never done anything other than take care of children and I look at CareSouth as a place where I can give long-term care with children and take care of them as they grow.”

Before coming to CareSouth Carolina, Andreksi worked at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center (Hartsville, SC), Al Haramain Hospital (Saudi Arabia), and San Pedro Hospital (Philippines). She has several licenses and certifications, including a Registered Nurse License, Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification, and completed the Neonatal Resuscitation Program.

Outside of work, Andreksi most enjoys gardening. She also likes spending time with friends and exercising.

To make an appointment with Andreksi, please call the Hartsville office at 843-332-3422. The Hartsville Pediatric office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Hartsville office is located at 1268 South Fourth Street.
