CareSouth Carolina’s Brooke Jacobs Honored with Prestigious Award of Excellence by SCPHCA

CareSouth Carolina’s Brooke Jacobs, Patient Experience Technical Advisor, has been honored with the Award of Excellence by the South Carolina Primary Health Care Association (SCPHCA) at its annual SEA Retreat. 

This distinguished award recognizes individuals who go above and beyond in their dedication to patient care and service, and Brooke is a shining example of that commitment.

Brooke has been an integral part of the CareSouth Carolina team for nearly seven years, beginning her journey as a floater before transitioning into the role of Medical Office Assistant (MOA) in Chesterfield. Her passion for patient care and team support has led her to her current role, where she plays a vital part in training and ensuring front-office staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to provide the best possible care.

Brooke said she was taken by surprise when she learned she had been selected for the award, expressing deep gratitude for the recognition.

“I was very surprised. I was honored. It means a lot to me that people around me think enough of me to nominate me for something like that,” she shared.

Her passion for CareSouth Carolina and its mission shines through in her work every day.

“My CareSouth Carolina family—I’ve always had a good experience with CareSouth being there,” she said. “Being able to help the patients, knowing that we’re here for patients that would not get care if we weren’t—that’s what makes it all worthwhile.”
