CareSouth Carolina's Haley Jones Receives Best Health Care Worker Award for 2024

CareSouth Carolina's Haley Jones Receives Best Health Care Worker Award for 2024

CareSouth Carolina’s Nurse Practitioner Haley Elizabeth Jones, who serves in our Dillon office, has been honored as the Best Health Care Worker for 2024 at the Simply Blessed Strong Survivors (SBSS) Hearts of Gold Gala. This marks the second consecutive year Haley has received this esteemed recognition, showing her dedication and commitment to delivering exceptional care to the community.

With over 13 years of healthcare experience, Haley has worked across various settings, including as a unit secretary, nurse extern, registered nurse, and now a Family Nurse Practitioner. In addition to her work at CareSouth Carolina, she is also partnered with Marion Advanced Health Diagnostics Lab and McLeod Medical Center Emergency Department, where she provides a range of primary and emergent care for pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Her work goes beyond just clinical excellence. Haley’s passion for serving her community shines through in every patient interaction, and her recognition as Best Health Care Worker for both 2023 and 2024 reflects the admiration and appreciation of those she serves. She attributes her success to the support of her family, friends, and the broader Dillon community.

“I am incredibly honored to be chosen by the community as the Best Health Care Worker for 2024,” Jones said. “I’m grateful to my family, friends, and the community for their continued support, and I will strive to provide the highest quality care to every patient who walks through our doors.”

SBSS, led by founder Rhonda McCrimmon, is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families through education, healthcare, housing, and employment assistance. The SBSS Hearts of Gold Gala recognizes the hard work and dedication of community members, and Haley is humbled by the honor of receiving this prestigious award for a second year.

Haley, a Latta native, is the daughter of Wallace and Pleasant Legette, and the grand-daughter of Rosa Wilson. She is married to Commander Troy Jones of the Dillon Sheriff's Office, and together they have two sons, Jacob and Jordan.

Haley attended Latta High School and was the 2006 salutatorian. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Pre-medicine in 2010 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013 from Francis Marion University. In 2019, she graduated with her Master’s degree in Nursing from South University, furthering her ambition to provide top-tier healthcare in her community.
